Warranty/Returns

Returns:

An unused item can be returned within 21 days of the date of purchase. A copy of the invoice is required.  If you want to return a product that was purchased in the web shop, you can enter a Return request through My account --> My orders --> My return requests.
Customised items (items with team/player names, numbers, etc.) and items that have been especially ordered for the customer (i.e. women pants/shorts) cannot be returned.  EvoShield products can also not be returned once the sealed package has been opened.

A return request must always be filed through the “Returns” page on the ”My Account” page.
Unannounced returns will not be processed.
Items ordered or made especially for the customer cannot be returned.
Products that are returned must be new, unused, in original packaging, and with all original labels and cards.
When part of the original packaging/labels/cards is missing, a maximum of 70% of the product cost will be credited.

When you make a return shipment, we kindly request you to include a note with instructions, the return number, or a copy with the communication with a Covee team member, so that the return can be processed fast and correct.
If your return includes products that Covee shipped by mistake, Covee will refund your return shipping costs, with the shipping costs that Covee charges per 1 box as a maximum.
In all other cases, the customer is responsible for the costs and arrival of the return shipment.

As described in our terms & conditions, Covee does not refund money.  Items can be exchanged for other products or a store credit on the customer’s Covee account.
It is not possible to order multiple sizes of a certain product, try these on at home and return everything that does not fit.


An item that needs to be exchanged can be shipped to Covee with a copy of the invoice and a note with instructions. The customer pays for shipping the item back to Covee. Covee then pays for shipping the new item back to the customer. The customer needs to notify Covee before shipping something back.
Covee does not refund money.  Items can be exchanged for other products or a store credit on the customer's Covee account.  It is not possible to order multiple sizes of a certain product, try these on at home and return everything that does not fit.

As of January 1, 2022 we charge €30,00 for returns from outside the European Union (the UK, for example).
 

Warranty:

Covee Sports has to follow the warranty rules set by its suppliers. We cannot make any exceptions.

What to do with a broken product?
If you, after reading the below warranty conditions, think that your product should be replaced, you can contact Covee Sports B.V. by email: info@covee.nl Items that are returned without permission will not be processed.

Covee will have to be notified of the defective product as soon as possible and within the warranty period. All notifications after the warranty period will be disregarded. For example, a customer notifies Covee after 3 months about a bat that supposedly broke 2 weeks after purchase: this will not be accepted.  Also not accepted are stories that a product was purchased several months ago, but was 'only used twice'.

Items that are replaced by Covee under warranty are shipped with no extra costs in The Netherlands. If the customer lives outside The Netherlands, the item is replaced, but not shipped for free. The customer needs to pay these shipping costs, or place a new order so that the new item can be included with that shipment.  It is also the customer's/receiver's
responsibility to cover applicable taxes and/or import duties (if any).

BATS:
Easton, Louisville Slugger and DeMarini (Wilson) do not offer any warranty when the bat has been purchased outside of the United States. Covee does not agree with that policy, so Covee offers a 1-month warranty on cracks, dents, and breaks in aluminium bats. After the 1-month period, there is no warranty on aluminium bats. There are no exceptions to this rule. Smalls dents and “noises” may appear, but that does not influence the quality of the bat and are therefore not considered as warranty issues.  "Loss of power" according to the user is not a warranty issue.  A small piece of material rolling up and down inside the bat does not affect the performance of the bat and is therefore not a warranty issue.
IMPORTANT: Aluminium bats are very sensative to temperature changes. The suppliers do not allow the players to use aluminium bats below 15 degrees Celcius. There is absolutely no warranty on bats that are used in cold weather.
Under certain circumstances a bat may bend.  This is often due to sudden changes in temperature (for example from a cold basement to a hot field, etc).  Since the bat was straight at time of purchase and bended (in some some occasions) in the customer's possession, it is not covered by warranty.
A bat is designed to only be used with real gameballs. All bats are excluded from warranty when they are used on a pitching machine.

Some bats are only designed to be used in certain age groups or certain sports. For example, there are bats that are only to be used by the smallest age groups using safety balls or Fastpitch softball bats that can only be used by women. Any bats used by other age groups or gender will not have any warranty.

Suppliers apply the logical assumption that bats are for personal use and that 1 or 2 bats are not used by a whole team, which would obviously shorten the life span.  Bats that have extensively been used in a very short period of time are not under warranty.
Wood bats of any kind (ash, maple ór composite) have no warranty.
Under the limited warranty offered by the American brands, a non-wood bat can only be replaced once per original purchase and can only be redeemed by the original purchaser.

BAT REGULATIONS:
Rules in regards to bats that can or cannot be used change continuously, sometimes several times per year.  It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of the regulations in their respective games.
Used bats that have been rejected by the umpire, or simply aren't allowed to be used, cannot be returned.

GLOVES:
There is a 3-month warranty on cracks and production errors on leather gloves. Laces have no warranty and a glove with a broken lace is therefore not considered as broken.

SHOES:
There is a 1-month warranty on production errors. Possible production errors: broken cleats, torn/broken soles, etc. Broken- or damaged noses are never covered by warranty, nor are damages caused by spiking.

BATTING GLOVES:
There is a 1-month warranty on production errors.

UNIFORMS:
There is a 1-month warranty on zippers and buttons. Covee guarantees delivery with no color difference. Items with color differences after delivery have no warranty. Damages caused by slidings are never covered by warranty.

OUTLET:
There is no warranty on outlet items or items sold for outlet prices.
