Warranty Bats

Covee Sports has to follow the warranty rules set by its suppliers. We cannot make any exceptions.
All rules regarding warranty can be foud here.
Bats have more complex warranty rules.

What to do with a broken bat?

If you, after reading the rules on warranty, think that your bat should be replaced, you can contact Covee Sports B.V. by email: info@covee.nl

Please email as much information as possible, including pictures.
Items that are returned without permission will not be processed.

Covee will have to be notified of the defective product as soon as possible and within the warranty period. All notifications after the warranty period will be disregarded.
For example, a customer notifies Covee after 1 year about a bat that supposedly broke 2 weeks after purchase: this will not be accepted.  Also not accepted are stories that a product was purchased a long time ago, but was 'only used twice'.

Items that are replaced by Covee under warranty are shipped with no extra costs in The Netherlands. If the customer lives outside The Netherlands, the item is replaced, but not shipped for free. The customer needs to pay these shipping costs, or place a new order so that the new item can be included with that shipment.

BRANDS

Covee Sports proudly represents the following renowned American bat brands:

-             Louisville Slugger

Effective July 1, 2024, Covee Sports handles a strict warranty period of 1 year on aluminum and composite bats from Louisville Slugger, Demarini, Mizuno, en Rawlings.
Has it been more than 12 months since the bat was purchased, then the brand (and therefore also Covee Sports) will not accept the claim.
There are no exceptions on this period.
A receipt or internet order number is always needed to file a claim.
Copies of bank statements are not accepted as proof of purchase.

Proper Care & Use Instructions

Bats are a high-performance product, designed to deliver maximum performance within the limits of the association rules. To deliver peak performance, these bats are not indestructible. In fact, its useful life is partly determined by the number of hard hits it takes over its lifetime.
For this reason, these bats are designed with the intent of the individual use. It is not designed or intended to be used as a team bat by multiple players or as a "loaner" bat at a commercial facility.

NON-WOOD BAT CARE INSTRUCTION

  • Ideally, baseballs/softballs used in games are the best option to use for practice.
  • Limit the bat to your individual use only
  • Rotate the bat 1/4 turn each atbat
  • To clean your bat, use only mild soap and water. DO NOT use solvents or any ammoniabased products for cleaning.
